(The 3 Step Process to Treat Termite Attacks)

There are 3 important steps that we follow when you have found active termites in your Home…

STEP 1. Conduct a Termite Inspection

A Termite Inspection and Report of the property will need to be conducted – The Termite Inspection will be carried out with the use of our Thermal Imaging Camera.

STEP 2. Treat the Termite Infestation

We treat the active termites that are attacking the property using a product called Termidor. Silk’s Pest Control is a Certified and Accredited Applicator of Termidor. 3 weeks after the Infestation Treatment, we perform a follow up inspection to ensure that the termite activity has ceased, at which time the Home Owner can then have Builders come in and perform an Invasive Inspection and repair any concealed structural damage.

STEP 3. Install a Termite Management System

In most cases, subject to the building design and environmental conditions, Silk’s Pest Control will design and install a termite management system to deter future termite attacks.

These termite management systems can be a combination of chemical soil treated zones, or termite baiting and monitoring systems.
